Sport
Foundation Phase
GR 1 - 3
The daily sport uniform is the same as the school uniform.

Please do not pack in casual clothes.

Matches:
If there are specific requirements for matches, this will be communicated to you in advance​​
Learners in this phase wear their formal school uniform from
Monday to Friday.
​
On the days they have sport, from Monday to Thursday, learners must bring their sport uniform to school and change into it after school for practice.
​
Please do not pack casual clothes for sport days.
​

If there are specific uniform requirements for matches, these will be communicated to parents in advance.
Intermediate & Senior Phase
GR 4 - 7
Sport Rules:

Learners in Grades 1–3 at El Marine Primary wear their sport uniform as part of their school uniform throughout the day, unless a specific uniform is required for matches. In such cases, the match uniform must be packed in their bag so that learners can change after school.

Under no circumstances may learners wear casual clothing during sports periods.

Learners who participate in Netball must wear takkies and will not be allowed to play barefoot.

Learners participating in matches against other schools must bring the appropriate sport uniform.
-
If a learner is unwell, a written and signed letter from a parent or guardian must be provided to excuse the learner from sports practice or matches.
Casual Days
On days where casual clothes are allowed:
Learners may not wear beachwear, tight-fitting clothing, see-through garments, or clothing that is overly revealing or too short on casual days.
